College: Johnson is Rutgers' starting defensive end and most seasoned veteran at the position. He is also a concensus 2nd Team Preseason All-Big East pick.

High School: He was named the Gloucester County Times Defensive Player of the Year as a senior for Glassboro HS as well as the South Jersey Touchdown Club Lineman of the Year.
