College: Deering played quite a bit his true freshman year on the banks. Mostly lined up as a reciever, but also took snaps in the wildknight, ala Sanu 2009. Looking to contribute as a RB in 2011.

High School: Deering ran for 1,000 yards and 6 TD's as well as threw for 800 yards and 10 TD's as a high school junior. He is a utility player for his team.
